With the UK deep into the second week of lockdown, we're all trying different ways to stay safe and stave off cabin fever. Enter Hollywood actor Mark Strong, star of hit films Stardust, The Kingsman and the recent epic 1917, who aims to steer us away from boredom with tales of the deep.
He's featured in the latest episode of Krakenory - a rum take on the CBBC’s Jackanory. The weekly series, presented by The Kraken Black Spiced Rum, sees a legion of well-known storytellers retell some of literature’s greatest nautical tales.
The first episode saw The Libertines’ frontman Carl Barat don a smoking jacket and reading from the Jules Verne classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
