Hollywood actress dies in LA wildfires as she 'waited to find a husband'

Hollywood actress Dalyce Curry tragically lost her life in the horrific Los Angeles wildfires.The 95 year old's remains were sadly found in her ruined home in Altadena, amidst the devastating Eaton Fire.The coroner confirmed on Sunday that they had discovered Dalyce's remains.

Known affectionately as Momma D to her family, Dalyce had a successful career in Hollywood, appearing in films such as The Blues Brothers, The Ten Commandments and Lady Sings the Blues.

Her granddaughter had dropped her off at home late Tuesday night after a day filled with hospital appointments.Tragically, it was later confirmed that the 95 year old did not survive the fire.

When her granddaughter woke up the next morning, she received a text informing her that the power had gone out at her grandmother's house.
