Holly Willoughby updates fans on health battle after This Morning disappearance

Days after revealing to her concerned fans that she's been forced to miss several episodes of This Morning due to contracting shingles, presenter Holly Willoughby has issued a health update.

Having ventured outside for the first time since being struck down with the painful condition, Philip Schofield's co-host Holly, 42, took to Instagram on Saturday morning to share a snap of her dog Bailey.

She captioned the snap, "And I’m out of the house!", indicating that she's now fine and well. Sharing her excitement about being back in the outside world, the mother-of-two added to her comment: "The birds are putting on quite the show today… spring sounds beautiful".

Yesterday also saw social media savvy Holly express her gratitude to fellow This Morning star Dermot O'Leary for sending her some comforting soup and a delicious Reuben's sandwich as she continues to recover.
