Holly Willoughby's acting debut divides Midsomer Murders viewers

Holly Willoughby left fans less than impressed with her cameo during a recent episode of Midsomer Murders.The This Morning presenter, 42, made a guest appearance as herself in Sunday night's episode of the long-running murder mystery show.

However, fans of the show were left rather unimpressed with her acting chops, while others left shared some complaints about a part of the show in which she was referred to as the "Queen of Daytime".

Taking to Twitter as they watched the episode, fans were quick to voice their opinions, with one writing: "Turned off #MidsomerMurders that I've watched since Ep1.

If I wanted to see Willoughby I'd watch This Morning." While a second quipped: "Is that the Queen of Daytime?' Ah yes, top quality realistic not-at-all-forced dialogue there ITV. #MidsomerMurders." And a third shared a similar complaint, writing: "'Is that the Queen of Daytime?' As if anyone would say that. #midsomermurders." However, some fans were delighted to see their TV favourite back on the small screen, with one person saying: Forgot @hollywills was going to be in #MidsomerMurders.
