Pete, 35, and his best pal, former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 31, interviewed celebrities on the red carpet at the recent National Television Awards, where they managed to snag some time with This Morning's Holly.
But a savage dig directed from Holly to Pete seems to have made him think she hates her after they met a few years ago on now-defunct ITV show, Celebrity Juice.
He discussed it with Sam on their smash-hit podcast, Staying Relevant, as they talked about the highlight of meeting Holly. Sam said: "She's like the queen of the NTAs," before Pete slyly interrupted with "former queen".
Talking about their chat with her, Sam explained: "I just saw Holly Willoughby walking down the red carpet.. "We managed to bring her in.
