Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield are rested up and fully ready to come back to their hosting duties on following their fun-fillled summer breaks.

While they’ve made sure they’ve had time to recuperate over the summer break, the presenters reveal they’ve also kept in contact with their daytime TV family via meetups and WhatsApp groups. “To see each other socially is always really nice!” Holly, 41, says, while Phil, 60, adds, “There were a few barbeques and having Alison [Hammond] stay over recently was fun!” The stars are setting their alarm clocks, returning to their infamous sofa and looking forward to welcoming guests from all walks of life once again - and of course spending time with their TV colleagues. “I mean, in the make-up room in the mornings, everyone’s chatting - it’s like ‘What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!’ Everyone knows everything about everybody, and that’s nice,” Phil says. “It’s more than a job, it’s much more than that.

I’m not gonna lie, This Morning is one of my support groups and that’s a lovely thing to have.” Here, the dynamic duo share what’s in store for the magazine show this year, discuss their solid friendship and why the menopause has become such an important topic for them both… How would you sum up your summer plans?

Phillip: The best time about summer is turning off the alarm and switching off! I usually have three alarms that get me up in the morning because when you’re getting up at 5.30am, you’ve got to be sure you’re going to wake up.
