Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield looked emotional as they made their way through Westminster Hall to seen the Queen lie in state.

The This Morning stars were not required to be live in the ITV studio on Friday as the show made way for coverage of King Charles' historic first visit to Wales since the death of his mother, the Queen, last Thursday.

The presenters were seen filing past the monarch's coffin looking sombre and thoughtful.Queen Elizabeth II spent her first full day lying in state on Thursday (September 15) after the public were allowed to start paying their respects to the late monarch from 5pm on Wednesday.The Queen left her beloved Edinburgh for the last time on Tuesday as Her Majesty made her way to her final resting place in Windsor.

Her coffin lay in rest at St Giles Cathedral in the capital for 24 hours, draped with the Royal Standard of Scotland and the Crown of Scotland.
