Hitman who shot T2 Trainspotting star Brad Welsh dead dubbed 'Pound-A-Day Killer' by jail inmates

dailyrecord.co.ukThe hitman serving 28 years for shooting dead T2 Trainspotting star Bradley Welsh has been dubbed the ‘Pound-A-Day Killer’ by fellow inmates.
Sean Orman was convicted in May of gunning down Welsh, 48, outside his home in Edinburgh’s New Town in April 2019. The 30-year-old is behind bars at Shotts Prison in North Lanarkshire where sources say he is living in fear of reprisals.
His trial heard Orman was paid £10,000 to carry out the slaying on the orders of a gangland figure associated with the notorious Lyons clan.
The hit was part of a feud between that paymaster and a gangster linked to the rival Daniels crew.Sources say Orman is being protected in maximum security Shotts by hardened criminals with links to the Lyons’.The prison insider
