Heroic cat saves owner's life after heart attack

A heroic cat saved his owner's life after pounding its paws on her chest. Sam Felstead was sleeping when she was woken up by her cat Billy in the middle of the night and realised that she couldn't move her body.

Felstead had developed a shooting pain down the right side of her body and was rushed to hospital, where she was told she had suffered a heart attack.

The 42-year-old told BirminghamLive: "I woke up in the early hours covered in sweat and couldn't move. "Billy was on my chest and was meowing loudly in my ear hole.

He was really meowing. He doesn't do that normally, he sleeps all day and all night, that's his life. " Felstead added: "I'm grateful towards him as I didn't know if I'd have woken up.
