mirror.co.ukA selfless mum has turned down a life-saving kidney donation from her husband so that her two-year-old daughter can one day benefit from it instead.
Bec Vallee was told she had kidney disease when she was 11 before her own mum saved her life by donating one of her organs some years later.
But after rejecting the organ the 31-year-old from Queensland, Australia, was left on renal dialysis three days a week for six hours each time.
While her husband Ryan had wanted to donate one of his kidneys they were heartbroken to discover their daughter Ambrosia had the same condition as her mum and would one day need a transplant of her own.
