A five-year-old has been praised by police for saving his mum's life after she fell into a diabetic coma. Josh Chapman from Telford in Shropshire leapt into action when he found his mum laying unconscious on the floor of their home.
Josh spotted the phone number 112 - the European emergency number with the same purpose as 999 - on the side of his toy ambulance, which connected him through to a police operator.
Thanks to his speedy response, officers were able to quickly locate Josh and his younger brother, and called paramedics to the scene.
Mum-of-two Caroline, 41, said Josh managed to call for help despite never using a phone before. According to Daily Record she had been sitting in the living room with Josh and her 18-month-old son Harry
