Henry Cavill will reportedly reprise his roll as Superman in the DC Universe — and we know what it film won’t be. Sources reiterate that the new Warner Bros.

project will not be a sequel to “Man of Steel,” nor any standalone Superman film, Deadline reported Thursday. The caped crusader is not expected to make a scene in Matt Reeves’ upcoming “The Batman.” It’s also known that Warner Bros.

has already wrapped “Wonder Woman 1984,” due out this summer, and yet another stab at “Suicide Squad” — so those are out. The industry outlet speculates the star of Netflix’s “The Witcher” could possibly cameo in “Shazam 2,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “Black Adam” or the “Aquaman” sequel.
