Helen Skelton appeared emotional as she signed off on her final Sunday morning radio show for BBC 5 Live but told her listeners 'needs must'.
The Countryfile and Strictly Come Dancing star, 40, announced she would no longer be presenting the 10am to 12pm slot on a Sunday, which she took over from Laura Whitmore in August last year.
It comes as Helen prepares to release her first book, which will hit shelves in October. As she prepared to sign off on her final radio show this morning, 5 Live colleague Steve Crossman asked how she was feeling about her exit, with Helen admitting: "I'm not alright about it."
