Fans have been supporting Helen Skelton as she shared with them news of her new gig which left them deciding there was 'no better person' for the role.
The presenter has been going through a few changes of late having given up her much-loved radio role. Last month, Helen signed off on her final Sunday morning radio show for BBC 5 Live as she told her listeners 'needs must'.

Helen co-parents her three children – eight-year-old son Ernie, six-year-old Louis and daughter Elsie Kate – with her former husband and rugby player Richie Myler.
