Strictly Come Dancing favourite Nadiya Bychkova will not compete alongside a famous face this series. The Ukrainian, 34, originally joined the show's cast of ballroom professionals back in 2017, partnering up with broadcaster Dan Walker, football legend David James, popstars Matt Goss and Lee Ryan, and EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami over the years.
Reacting to the news that she's been sidelined for the upcoming 21st series, Dan, 46, wrote on the social platform X: "Strictly is such an amazing show and it’s almost time for the new series, what a great line-up this year. "All the pros are great but gutted to hear that @nadiyabychkova hasn’t got a partner.
I’m sure she’s still looking forward to being part of the biggest show on TV. But it feels like putting [Lionel] Messi on the bench for the World Cup final!" Nadiya remains a part of the group dances, yet the lack of a starring role has gone down like a lead balloon amongst fans. "Not giving Nadiya a partner?
Strictly, you’re dead to me this year" and "Shocking! She is immensely talented not to mention breathtaking," read two responses.
