Actress Helen Flanagan, who first appeared on Coronation Street back in 2000, has revealed whether she would consider a return to Weatherfield for her character Rosie Webster.

Helen joined the soap when she was just 10 years old, playing the daughter of Kevin and Sally Webster. She stayed on the series until 2012, and then returned in 2017, before leaving when she took maternity leave the following year.

Speaking to The Sun, Helen said: "I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street. I live now where I did growing up and I've moved around so much, you know, with my ex, football and stuff, so I'm back.” "But to be able to do Coronation Street, they would have to ask me back.

Also if I went back and stuff, I'd want to be in a good storyline and what have you." She also talked about the cobbles being a big part of her life growing up, adding: "I think I'll always kind of miss it, and I think it's almost having that excitement in your life, I've had that from such a young age I don't actually know any different.
