Helen Flanagan has hit back at "mean" online trolls who harshly criticised her looks, as she was glamming up ahead of a night out on social media.The ex-Coronation Street actress defended herself against spiteful social media users who used the comments section of a recent video to criticise her appearance, with one accusing her of "ruining" her face.In an Instagram video shared with her 1.1 million followers, Helen, 32, documented getting ready for a night out in Liverpool.

The clip showed the soap star transitioning from no makeup and a towel on her head to a smokey eye look, glamorous waves, and a black corset.One user commented: "Usually I'm that person if you've nothing nice to say well then say nothing at all BUT the lips are absolutely ruining your face please stop you've daughters that look up to you along with many others just be yourself."Another added: "Leave your lips alone, whatever you've done don't do it again, looks silly,"In a later post on her Instagram, the Celebs Go Dating star shared a selection of the comments that she’d received as she told her followers that it’s what’s on the inside that counts.
