It's Viktoria Plzen who stand between Hearts and progress in the Europa League. The Jambos will head to the Czech Republic for the first leg of their playoff round tie next week after Plzen finished the job against Ukrainian side KR Kryvbas, with the return leg at Tynecastle a week later.
They came from behind to win 2-1 in Slovakia last week, and a Daniel Vasulin goal was enough for a 1-0 home win to send them through 3-1 on aggregate. They will now take on Steven Naismith's side for a place in the newly formatted league phase.
The Gorgie club were dumped out at the same stage of the Europa Conference League last year thanks to a heavy aggregate defeat by PAOK after seeing off Rosenborg in the previous round.
Naismith will be hoping to go one better at a higher level, knowing that defeat will see Hearts drop into the Conference League.
