A dog left people in tears after he got dressed up to meet his new family who were 500 miles away - only for them to leave him waiting.A picture of adorable 12-year-old Border Collie Jordan was posted on Twitter by DSPCA (Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) showing him wearing a cute tuxedo collar. The Tweet read: 'Been waiting 500 days to find his forever home, before urging people not to get animals' "hopes up" as they explained Jordan had been waiting for his new family to come and pick him up, but they never showed. The charity went on to say it was actually the second time the dog had been let down after another family agreed to rehome him but it fell through.
