But now, more than a year later, fans are regularly calling for him to be a permanent host on the show, particularly since the sudden exit of Phillip Schofield.
Craig made his This Morning debut in May 2022 alongside Alison Hammond. However, it wasn't the TV and radio presenter's first-ever appearance on the programme.
He had popped up from time to time in the past, hosting ITV's competition segment from around Ireland, for example.
