Reece Tansey died after suffering serious stab wounds in the Great Lever area on Tuesday (May 4). It is understood the 15-year-old knocked on the door of a nearby house for help before he was found.

Emergency services were called to Walker Avenue at 4.45am before Reece was rushed to hospital. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.

Now two boys have been arrested in connection with the investigation. A close family friend has since paid tribute to the teenager, describing him as a 'fun-loving lad' who will be 'missed by so many people'.
