"He showed no remorse or sympathy": Family 'let down' after driver in fatal Christmas crash gets community service and points on licence

The family of a 'kind and caring' great grandma who was killed in a crash on Christmas Day say the sentence for the driver‘ does not justify what he has done’.

Lillian Conroy, 81, was killed on December 25, 2021, after she was struck by a car on Four Ends Lane in Over Hulton, Bolton, just after 7pm.

She sadly died as a result of her injuries. Paul Greenslade, was arrested a short time after the crash, at his home address, and was taken into custody for further questioning.
