When it comes to watching Anna Kendrick’s new, charming series,, there’s no escaping one’s own memories of past relationships — and that’s precisely the point. “I’ve been so happy that so many people have said that [watching it gives you] that uncanny, creepy feeling of when somebody captures exactly how it feels when you have your first love and your first breakup,” she tells ET’s Matt Cohen about the HBO Max original, which draws from a mix of popular romantic comedy films and personal experiences to chronicle a person’s entire romantic life. 

WarnerMedia officially enters the streaming wars with the launch of its platform, HBO Max, which includes 10,000 hours worth of content thanks to a mix of originals — an Amy Schumer docuseries, Anna Kendrick’s, the reality competition series — and a deep library of fan favorites, such as and, as well as all of HBO’s award-winning series. 

HBO Max is officially set to launch on May 27 with a full slate of movies and TV shows available to stream on June 1.
