Harry's reps deny claims Prince 'wanted to interview Putin about trauma'

Prince Harry's reps have rubbished reports he wanted to interview infamous public figures including Putin and Trump about their “upbringing and childhood trauma”.

According to Bloomberg, Harry had spoken to “multiple producers and production houses” to discuss the possible idea and, although he listened to other people’s ideas, he mostly “stuck by his own”.The report came days after Harry and Meghan’s £15 million Spotify podcast deal was scrapped.

However Prince Harry's representatives shot down the claims that the royal wanted to conduct interviews with Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg.

Prince Harry's representatives told OK!: "There is no truth to this and we shared that directly with Bloomberg".The publication had reported that Harry wanted to speak with the controversial figures about their “early formative years” and how their individual experiences helped them become the people “they are today”.This follows after Meghan Markle's Spotify podcast had been axed from the streaming giant as Meghan and Harry's audio production company Archewell Audio released a joint statement saying it was "mutual".The joint statement from Archwell and Spotify said: “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.” Meghan and Harry’s production company Archewell Audio only made one podcast series for the streaming giant after signing a contract in late 2020.
