Harry is no longer held down by the "mentality" of other working members of the Royal Family, a source who is allegedly a friend of the Duke of Sussex has claimed.

Instead, the Prince has found a "supportive" partner in Meghan Markle, who fights for Harry's beliefs which has "emboldened" him, the source also claimed. After Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties in January 2020, the King's younger son has embraced his new-found freedom of being free of the royal family's shackles, the Express reports. He has seemingly ditched their well known manta of "never complain, never explain", which was adopted by his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II for seven decades, after his spill-all Netflix docuseries with Meghan and his bombshell memoir where he spoke his mind on the Firm.Harry, who is also very critical of the British press, has embarked on a "mission" which another source suggested may be open-ended.

Referring to the caution which is normally adopted by royals and the palace when speaking publicly, the friend told the Sunday Times: "He’s free from the shackles of that mentality."They added: "In Meghan, he has found someone supportive of that stance and he’s emboldened by that."But the bigger picture is that he believes there are some very significant wrongs that need to be righted."Another source believes that Harry will continue to speak about the British press even after his legal cases against multiple publications will come to an end. They claimed: "He sees his mission as being the standard bearer of a fair media and I think we’ll see more of this in years to come."He feels so strongly about it.
