Harry Maguire sends six-word Manchester United message after Arsenal controversy

Harry Maguire has reacted on social media after Manchester United battled past Arsenal in the FA Cup third round on Sunday. Maguire was part of a defensive effort which saw the Reds hold out for more than an hour to force spot-kicks after Diogo Dalot's sending-off.

United were also indebted to Altay Bayindir but held firm before emerging victorious on penalties to keep their cup defence alive.

And Maguire has now had his say on the victory. "Sunday afternoons in the FA Cup." he simply said on Instagram alongside a picture of him in action against the Gunners.

The centre-back was left furious in the second-half when referee Andy Madley controversially awarded a spot-kick after he was adjudged to have fouled Kai Havertz.
