Defender Harry Maguire believes a lack of consistency has been "the most frustrating thing" for Manchester United this season, pinpointing it as one of their core issues.
After producing two positive and upbeat performances away at Liverpool and Arsenal earlier this month, United have since scraped past Southampton and been beaten 3-1 by Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
Head coach Ruben Amorim admitted ahead of last Thursday night's victory over Southampton, which was inspired by a late hat-trick from Amad, that he would learn more about his players in the Old Trafford double-header against the Saints and Seagulls than he had against Liverpool and Arsenal.
Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Brighton means United are still yet to secure back-to-back Premier League wins this season. They have also failed to win successive league games at Old Trafford since December 2023.
