Harry Maguire's brother Laurence has strongly rejected suggestions that the Manchester United defender could apologise to Greek police in order to have his guilty verdict overturned.

The England international was found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery following a late night brawl in Mykonos last week.

He has been handed a prison sentence of 21 months and 10 days, suspended for three years, while he was withdrawn from Gareth Southgate's Three Lions squad to take on Iceland and Denmark in the UEFA Nations League next month.
