Harry Maguire says Manchester United had a 'tough' first session upon their return to training earlier this week as he outlined how the need for social distancing has changed how the players train.
United players and staff took part in their first session at Carrington in over two months on Wednesday as part of a staggered return after the Premier League held a vote on clubs' return to training on Monday.
Club captain Maguire was among the first to arrive as part of the initial training group, with the rest of the squad arriving at staggered times between 10am and 4pm later in the day.
Premier League clubs voted unanimously for players to return to training earlier this week with officials still keen on a return to action next month.
