Harry Kane rocked the Premier League on Monday evening as it emerged he would like to leave Tottenham this summer. The striker - who has been on Spurs' books since 2004 - informed his boyhood club of his intention to depart at the end of a disappointing season.
The news comes as a major blow to Tottenham, who are hugely reliant on Kane's steady stream of goals. The north London club is now faced with losing their talisman to Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea, each of whom have made enquiries.
But Kane's transfer request is hardly a surprising one in light of comments he has made about winning - or failing to win - trophies.
