Mohamed Salah has sent a congratulatory message to Harry Kane after the Tottenham star narrowly beat him to the Premier League Golden Boot award.
Both the forwards were level on 22 goals going into the final day of the season, but while Salah drew a blank during Liverpool's 2-0 win against Crystal Palace Kane scored Spurs' opener in a 4-2 victory over Leicester.
It saw the England striker win the award for the third time in his career, but it is the first time he has managed the feat since Salah made the move to Anfield, with the Egyptian winning it twice during that period.
