Harry and William's relationship 'hasn’t recovered since Oprah' interview, claims expert

The Duke of Sussex, 37, who has ruled out returning to the UK for Prince Philip's memorial but 'hopes to visit the Queen as soon as possible', gave a bombshell interview alongside his wife Meghan Markle with Oprah Winfrey which aired in March 2021.
Harry, who now lives in Montecito, California, with Meghan and their two children Archie, two, and Lilibet, nine months, claimed in the interview that William was 'trapped' within the monarchy and described how he was 'very aware' that his brother 'can't leave that system'.

Writing in The Telegraph a year since the interview in 2021, royal editor Camilla Tominey said: "While Prince Charles is thought to be in regular contact with his youngest son, Harry’s relationship with William has still not recovered from Oprah, after he suggested both his father and his brother felt “trapped” in the Royal family."
