Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were reportedly "concerned" over the Duchess of Sussex's safety if she attended the historical crowning of King Charles at the Coronation next month.It comes following the news last week after months of speculations that Prince Harry will be attending the landmark event at Westminster Abbey on May 6 alone, whilst his wife stays in their California family home with their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Meghan will not be attending the ceremony, but instead remain in the ex-working royals US home with her daughter Princess Lilibet and son Prince Archie, whose fourth birthday lands on the same day as the historic event, with the children reportedly not being invited as they are "too young." Royal historian Tessa Dunlop has now revealed that the couple were concerned about the public's potential reaction to Meghan, given that it would be difficult to predict following months of controversy surrounding the couple and a growing family rift. "An insider tells me that they were a bit concerned about her security and the response [from the public]," she told US Weekly.
