Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are believed to be house hunting in a new celeb hotspot after claims they are reportedly annoying their neighbours in California.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be eyeing up a plush $8million plot of land in Malibu, which is a beach city in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles.
The six-acre estate they have their sights on apparently boasts the foundations for a 10,000 square foot mansion which would serve as their main residence - as well as a number of outhouses.According to TMZ sources, a guard house, pool, seating terrace and a fire pit have reportedly already been built on the land, the Mirror reports.Regardless of this, construction of the main residence could still see Meghan and Harry forking out an additional $10million on the property, which is less than an hour from Los Angeles and nestled away in the heart of the celebrity favourite coastal hotspot.The Sussexes could land themselves with some very famous neighbours such as Paris Hilton and Leonardo DipCaprio if they make the move from their current pad in Montecito.Meghan, 42, and Harry, 38, splashed £12m, (almost $15million) on their home in Santa Barbara following their move to the US.
However, reports state that their neighbours have reportedly grown frustrated with the Sussexes, with TMZ claiming that "most locals" say their "mere presence is driving folks wild" due to the swarms of paparazzi photographers and helicopters sometimes circling overhead.
