Hundreds of young gymnasts gathered to participate in Hamilton Gymnastics Club’s annual show last weekend as their new facility officially opened.

The event marked the successful club’s official opening of their Blantyre facility, after securing a £108,401 grant from Sport Scotland’s National Lottery investment initiative.

The level of funding received allowed the club to upgrade and purchase new equipment such as foam pits, a built-in trampoline, a tumble track, a new office space and waiting area for parents.
