Hamilton care home residents welcome MP

Residents and staff at Douglas View had a special visitor as they welcomed their local MP to the Hamilton care home.Hamilton & Clyde Valley representative Imogen Walker paid a visit to the 100-bed nursing and dementia home and saw its range of facilities including a cinema, hair salon, pub, cafe, lounge, sensory room and gardens.She spent time speaking to members of the home community – and even joined in with the celebrations as resident James Gourley celebrated his 90th birthday.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
