The song’s writers are Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, and Alexander Kronlund. “Lucky” is about an eponymous famous actress who seemingly has it all but feels unhappy and lonely. “She’s so lucky, she’s a star / but she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking / if there’s nothing missing in my life / then why do these tears come at night?” Spears sings in “Lucky.” Halsey’s “Lucky” is part of their fifth album.
