Dramatic helicopter footage shows the moment an off-road biker was chased through Wigan by police before being arrested. Officers tackling antisocial behaviour involving motorbikes and quad bikes followed the rider, a man in his 20s, through Tyldesley on Sunday (July 7).
While on patrol, police were alerted by the National Police Air Service (NPAS) to the biker driving along footpaths and roads.
After seeing the police, the driver sped off in a bid to evade them, mounting pavements, running red lights and driving the wrong way down main roads.
