Haim have previewed the next single from their upcoming fourth album – check out the snippet below.The Los Angeles sister trio returned last month with a breezy, R&B-tinged track called ‘Relationships’, which arrived with a Drew Starkey-starring music video.
A press release noted that it offered “a contrast to the forthcoming album’s rock sound”.Now, the band shared a brief preview of another new song.
The as-yet-untitled single bears a rawer, more guitar-led sonic style, with frontwoman Danielle Haim singing: “Renters’ rights, squatters’ rights/ I’ll be the gatekeeper for the rest of my life.”She adds: “I don’t want your charity/ Spend a night in the cold if it keeps me free.”An accompanying video clip of Haim displays the message: “This is your sign to leave him.” The caption to the post reads: “Single girl summer.” Tune in here:A post shared by HAIM (@haimtheband)Last weekend, Haim suggested that another single was incoming by sending a text message to their mailing list. “You guys ready for another[?]” it read.
