Pep Guardiola has been dealt yet another injury scare during the international break as Manchester City await an update on Erling Haaland before their impending Premier League showdown with Liverpool.
Haaland (ankle) limped off when playing for Norway against the Faroe Islands on Thursday night and City will have everything crossed hoping their free-scoring striker makes a quick recovery.
The treble-winners are due to take on Premier League title rivals Liverpool in their next domestic match on Saturday, November 25.
City will have to check up on eight players before the game at the Etihad Stadium (12.30pm) after Haaland became the latest man to enter their treatment room.
