H.E.R. Will Perform U.S. National Anthem at Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor Grammy, Oscar and Emmy winner H.E.R. will perform the U.S. national anthem at the Olympics closing ceremony in Paris on Sunday.

The five-time Grammy winner will be singing at the Stade de France as the Paris Olympics comes to a close and the handover to LA28 begins.

H.E.R will join iconic French bands Phoenix and Air, who are set to be a part of the ceremony. The event’s executive director Thierry Reboul told Variety, “Today, where we look at the history of music, it’s certainly the French music style and the artists behind it, who have had the biggest resonance in the world.

So it was important for us to acknowledge it.” As Variety previously reported, Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are expected to be a part of the closing ceremony, performing from L.A.
