'Gruesome' new Netflix show likely to be a huge hit with fans of The Boys

A fresh series from Netflix from one of the world’s most famous filmmakers, Zack Snyder, is already making waves online.The new epic fantasy series has been earning some rave reviews - and it’s even been compared to Amazon Prime Video’s popular dark comedy, The Boys.The “gruesome” adult animated series co-created from the 300 and Man of Steel director is called Twilight of the Gods.The show is said to be inspired by Norse mythology, and set “in a mythical world of great battles, great deeds and great despair”.It also includes a star-studded supporting voice cast, including The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan, Fargo actor Peter Stormare and The Matrix franchise actress Jessica Henwick.Twilight of the Gods’ unique take on Norse folklore has already earned Snyder some praise, as well as its captivating visuals and unashamedly bloody violence.
