Set in the 1990s, The Electric State is based on Simon Stalenhag's illustrated novel, which follows a young girl and her robot companion as they search for her missing brother.
Newly released promotional images show Millie, 20, and Chris, 45, in character as Michelle and Keats, with Millie sporting a bold blonde hairstyle and Chris donning a shaggy dark blonde look with a thick moustache.
