Grime artist Wiley dropped from label over anti-Semetic tweets

Grime artist Wiley has been dropped by his management and banned from Twitter for a week - over claims of anti-Semitism. His team say they've "cut all ties" with him, after he posted a string of tweets yesterday.

The UK Campaign Against Antisemitism is asking the British government to take back his MBE - which he was awarded in 2018 for services to music.

Politicians and musicians have condemned anti-Semitic tweets by Grime artist Wiley, which have seen him banned from the social media platform for a week.

On Friday evening and Saturday morning, the musician posted a series of tweets including one that said: “I would challenge the whole world of Jewish community on my own I am not scared I can handle them.” He also posted an Instagram video
