Friends of a farm worker found alive five years after he vanished and was feared murdered have been left stunned and relieved after police found him living in a woodland.
Ricardas Puisys, then 35, disappeared after leaving work in September 2015, and a murder investigation was launched two months later as searches and appeals failed to locate the Lithuanian man, leaving family and friends grieving.
Detectives announced on Monday that the 40-year-old was found alive last month living in a woodland in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, where he was "very well concealed" within undergrowth.
New photos have been posted on a Facebook page under Ricardas' name, and the person behind the page has thanked family and friends with emojis in the comments.
