A Greggs worker was Tasered when a store was robbed, it has been reported. At around 7.40am on Saturday morning two female members of staff at a store in Lichfield, Staffordshire were threatened and forced to access a safe.
One of the women was struck with a "Taser-type" device during the alarming incident, Birmingham Mail reported. Thankfully, she was unharmed in the attack, but has been left distressed.
An undisclosed amount of cash was also swiped during the robbery. A 38-year-old man from Coventry was arrested in the city in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of robbery and put into custody.
