Greggs enlists kitchen icon Nigella Lawson to star in its first Christmas ad

Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson, famed for her rich recipes and captivating cookery shows, has teamed up with Greggs for their inaugural Christmas advertisement.

The ad features Nigella arriving at her festively adorned home, complete with twinkling lights and a Christmas tree decked out in Greggs decorations.

The star cook is seen savouring the "rapturous riot of flavour" of Greggs' "festive bake" pastry, describing it as "succulent filling, creamy sauce, all wrapped up in the flakiest of flaky pastries, in one or both hands, say hello to the Greggs festive bakes," before taking a bite.

The advert is shot in the style of Nigella's own Christmas cooking TV specials, ending with a sweep over a table brimming with Greggs' Christmas offerings, culminating in a display of vegan festive bakes.
