A well-known restaurateur, often referred to as the 'godfather of hospitality', has expressed interest in Gregg Wallace's position on MasterChef, asserting his capability to "deliver".

Wallace has recently stepped back from his role on the beloved culinary programme following a BBC News investigation that brought to light allegations of inappropriate sexual comments and behaviour.On Tuesday, the BBC disclosed that additional accusations have been made against the presenter, leading to the decision not to broadcast the Masterchef Christmas specials.
