Gregg Wallace deletes message on social media as MasterChef winner revealed

MasterChef's Gregg Wallace has been in the spotlight recently, following allegations of misconduct, which he strongly denies.The 60 year old presenter initially responded to the claims by posting a video stating "we are all different" on Instagram, but he has since deleted that post.

Last month, it was revealed that Gregg had stepped down from his role on MasterChef while production company Banijay UK investigates the complaints.

His legal team has firmly denied any sexually inappropriate behaviour. In a video message earlier this month, Gregg claimed: "Now in the [press] I can see the complaints coming from a handful of middle-class women of a certain age just from Celebrity Masterchef.This isn't right." He later apologised for any offence caused by his comments.

Despite the controversy, Gregg has continued to appear on MasterChef: The Professionals, which started airing before the allegations came to light.
