People all across Greater Manchester have woken up today with a grim start to the week as overnight rain has left the ground wet and temperatures feeling especially cold.
While temperatures will pick up slightly throughout the afternoon, it will feel colder due to wind speeds reaching as high as 15mph with the Met Office providing consistent warnings for rain throughout the day.
According to the Met Office said: "Today, it will be mainly cloudy with some patchy light rain. Later in the afternoon, longer spells of rain may reach in from the north.
A breezy and rather mild day. Tonight will start under cloudy skies with some spells of light rain likely too. Longer and heavier spells of rain will move in from the west through the second part of the night.
